Wreck me- JL Mac

Wreck Me

Picture

Life can be cruel. People can be ruthless and evil. The world can be cold and uninviting. No one knows these things better than Josephine Geroux. By her own definition, she is a twenty-five year old “nobody with nothing,” and she is content to stay that way. Growing up an orphan has made her tough and indifferent to the people around her until she meets a strangely familiar man with a face that haunts her for reasons she can’t understand.

Despite the pain that will inevitably ensue, she makes it her mission to discover what parts of her tragic puzzle she is missing. On her journey to discovering why the she feels an alarming connection to an absolute stranger, her greatest fear is reawakening the demons and darkness from the past that will surely overtake her if she lets her guard down.

Little does Josephine know that the past should be the least of her worries. She is toying with a man who has already broken her heart once. She just doesn’t realize it.
Although she makes it a point to avoid interactions with others, Josephine’s life becomes entangled with the enigmatic stranger. Before she realizes it, she has given herself over to the one person who is close enough to wreck her.

Birthday Bash Interview- S.L. Siwik

We are so exited to have the opportunity of interviewing the lovely S.L. Siwik
Thank you for joining us.      Thank you for having me.

What/who inspired you  to start writing? I had a sick baby at home and couldn't work because day cares  wouldn't take her. Boredom got the best of me, and I found myself writing fan  fiction stories to help stimulate my mind. Once I started, I couldn't stop.  Eventually, it lead to my own stories - Contemporary romances.
What is your  favourite part of a book?  Writing it or reading it? I'm the type of reader
where five pages into a story, I already know if I'm going to enjoy it or not. I
have already picked up on the writer's style, have a good assumption at the
writer's intentions with the story, and so I decide if I want to take the
journey or not. On the author's end, trying to create that important first
impression in a book- hooking a reader in the first scene is outrageously
difficult (for me). I admire writers who nail it. I'll likely struggle with that
the rest of my career. That's why the beginning is my favorite. It reminds me of
the first impression on a date. If you're being honest with yourself, by the end of that night, every girl knows if they want another one or  not.

When naming your charcters, do you give any thought to the actual
meaning? Yes, I do. Sometimes, when I pictures a character in my head from head
to toe, I look at their faces and think, 'you look like a....' and that's how
they are named. Other times, I literally go into name meaning dictionaries and
go through them. For example in my book released this month, Winning Back Ryan,
the protagonist's name is Anne. The name means grace, favor. After reading the
book, the reader realizing the name is quite ironical, because Annie is a 'bull
in a china shop.'

Would you ever write a different genre?  Yes, I write in Romance, but I have had
sitting on my computer for a while pieces of a supernatural/ fantasy
book....dealing with prophecy, medieval setting, werewolves, mercenaries, swords
and bows, dragons, good stuff. I dont' know if the project will ever come to
light, but I hope it does...one day.

What advice would you give inspiring  writers? You have to believe in yourself 100%. Also, take time to improve your craft- workshops, advice from professional writers, take all of it and think   about it. But, most importantly, work hard on establishing your personal style  of writing. Once you figure it out, writing will come much easier for you, and  you will enjoy it more. You'll feel 'comfortable in your skin' sort of speak.

What made you come up with your book titles? Well, with the Winning
Back Ryan series all of the books have 'back' in them. The sequel is Getting
Back Annie (due out later this year) and the third book is titled Wanting Back
Brian. So, they all connect in a way. I simply thought about what I was trying
to say in each book, if i could sum up one piece of advice from each book, what
would it be? Then, the title came to me through that.

Who is your favourite character from your books and why? I think of my characters as children, so I  try not to have favorites. With that said, there is one character that I do love  writing a teeny bit more than the others. Ben Hurley from Winning Back Ryan is probably my favourite  because he's a wild card. He doesn't care what other people think; he does what  he wants to. And he has a very unique sense of morals. He is a very complex  character that I have spent over two years developing. Everyone who has read  through so far has asked me,"Can I have more of him?" I have no doubt that he  will become many ladies' new book boyfriend.

If you could work with any  fellow author who would it be and why? Wow. Just one? It would probably be S.C.  Stephens because I think her strength is what I lack, which is making sure the  reader feels the depth of emotions that the characters are feeling in a  particular scene. Sometimes I hold back (without even realizing it), and in my  first book, a few reviewers called me out on that. I think she could teach me
alot about pushing a character's emotions all the way in a scene- how to just
punch the gas pedal and floor it.

Who are your top five authors/books- Top five books: Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Twilight, The Notebook, Beautiful  Disaster.

Thank you for taking part.  Thank you for letting me be a part. It
was wonderful connecting with all of you! Happy Reading!

Groaning I flopped  back down in bed and threw the pillow that was next to me and hit Hunter with  it. “Hunter get up.”
“I am up.” He said as he started to sit up against the  headboard and then he took the pillow I threw at him and put it over his  lap.
Hailey started laughing hysterically all of a sudden; I sat up and  glared at her. “What the hell is so funny?”
Wiping the tears from her eyes  she pointed to the pillowing on Hunters lap. “That is.” Then she turned and  walked away still laughing.
Hunter moved the pillow to get out of bed and I  saw what Hailey was laughing at. I started laughing, “You know, I can help you  with that.”
“Laugh it up.” Hunter said as he walked to his dresser to put on
a pair of jeans.

 Stormy Surrender Blurb:

Sometimes the life you planned isn’t the one you get to live. Sometimes the  pain of the past overshadows the future. And sometimes to start over you have to   go back to where it all began. That’s how it was for Joe Masters. That’s how he
ended up back in New Hope. And that’s why he was in his thirties and had nothing  to show for his life. He needed a complete overhaul, just like his father’s old  house. Instead of a fast track, he had slowed down and was on a ten year plan.
These days that was more his speed. And as much as he tried to fight the  inevitable, he was learning to accept and surrender.

Martha had  weathered her fair share of storms in Vermont, was accustomed to the cold, both  the chill in the air and the cold shoulder in her marriage, but after the
miscarriage she felt like she would never get warm again. So she did the
research from the laptop while sitting in front of the fireplace. She knew what
she needed when she Googled ‘hope,’ she just never imagined that it would bring
her to New Hope, South Carolina. She never imagined that her husband would trick
her into leaving and never follow. She never imagined that a southern storm with
all its force and fury could be so destructive. But after the storm, the land is
washed clean. It’s perfect for a fresh start, a clean slate, and a new
love.

Interview

Thank you for joining us on this interview.

Where are you from?
I’m adopted, but I usually tell people I’m imported because it sounds so much  more exotic.  I was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, but lived most of my  life in the Adirondacks before moving to Charlotte, North Carolina about 12
years ago.

Tell us your latest New hope series?
When Sam and I started dating about five years ago, he always encouraged me  to become a writer, even though he is not a reader.  He swore that if I  wrote a book about us, he’d read it.  Stormy Surrender began as The
Fixer-Upper.  It was supposed to be one book, but the story was simply too  big, so it became the first book in a series…really my first series.  And  after working with JB McGee on the cover, the book became Stormy  Surrender.

When did you come up with the idea for the series?
I had to have a way to tell our story that was fictitious enough for Sam to  be comfortable with it.  He is very private and I’m…not.  It has been  an adjustment for him.

Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?  I believe in hope.  I believe in second chances.  I believe that  you can have the life of your dreams if you are simply willing to work for  it.  That’s what the New Hope series is about.

How much of the book is realistic, based on the experiences of your life?
There’s a lot of truth in that book.  One reader posted a review on  Goodreads where she said that the first touch scene between Joey and Marti might  be the best she’s ever read.  And that feeling…is all true.  When Sam  and I touch, it always feels like home to me.  There was a time that Sam  used to leave all the lights on for me.  We were neighbours, I lived four  houses down, and that was his way of always being there for me.  And we had  tons of neighbours weighing in on whether or not we should be together.  There’s more…but I’m not going to give anything away…

When will we hopefully see book two in this series?  Book two, tentatively titled Tempest Torn, will be out at the end of  June.  That’s the plan anyway.  Depends on how the writing goes, but I  know this story.  I love this story.  So, I don’t anticipate any huge  challenges other than writing time with a baby.

What was your biggest challenge with this Book?   I didn’t know where to end it.  I didn’t know how much story to  tell.  Finally I worked with the book whisperer, Katie Mac, and she told me  to remember it was a series and that I didn’t have to cram everything into one  book.  So, that helped.

Who designed the covers?  JB McGee has made all of my contemporary fiction covers.  I love her  work, her style, her process, and her price.  We work well together.   To hire her, visit http://indiepixelstudio.com

Did you learn anything from writing your book and what was it?  I learned not to stress so much, not to try to force it.  I learned how  to use writing sprints to move the story along.  I learned to share and  brainstorm with other writers.  This was the first book I needed to do any  of that with.

Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?  I am writing as fast as I can.  I’m publishing a book a month, and  hardly a day goes by that I don’t have a reader ask me about the next  book.  I LOVE IT.  I love hearing from readers.  I try to find a  balance between socializing and writing.  They are both such enjoyable  aspects of my life.

If you had to choice who to go out for dinner with out of Martha  and  Joe who would it be?  Tough call.  I am Marti, in some ways.  So, I think the  conversation would be rather dull.  On the other hand, Joe is the best  version of my husband.  I tried to stay true to who he is and the reviews  and feedback would suggest I’ve done a pretty good job.  He is pretty rough  around the edges.  And there is a wonderful soft side that he really only  lets a few people see.  He tells me he’s let me in deeper than  anyone.  He is my dream man.  And because I joke that I need to give  Sam a script sometimes for our conversations, a dinner with Joe would be pretty perfect

                       Review

I am just going to say this straight  out.  No holding back; no  playing games.  This book is "Oh My Goodness" HOT!!! I love Nicole.  I  love Nicole's writing.  But honestly, I think I love Joe and  Marti  more now.

That sweet disillusioned Martha...only she would think

that relocating with her husband to a new location would "fix" their

marriage...her miscarriage...his cheating heart.  What I can't figure out  is why  she would even want it fixed!  I think it's awesome that she  googles just what  she is looking for...HOPE.  This search for HOPE  brings her to New Hope, SC.  I've gotta say, there is just something  about the South that can mend a broken  spirit and soothe a troubled  soul.

And then there is Joe.  He is such a  slut, such a  womanizer, such a fan of the one night stand.  He is also very   broken...incomplete...maybe a little bitter.  Joe is a contractor.  He  makes his  living repairing houses.  When he meets Martha, they hit it
right off  they clash like the Titans.  (I just wanted them to hit it  off right away!)

Those two bicker and fuss like  6 year old sisters with only one Barbie to share  between them.  But  there is just something there that draws them back to each  other.  It  was fun watching the town try to keep these two apart.  It was  entertaining to see Joe's senile neighbor mistake a bonfire for a house  fire.  I bet that water was cold!

This book started off with that  tug on me and  would not let go even at  the very end.  Oh, I  still have questions, but I know  that there are more answers waiting for
me in the second installment of the New  Hope series

Claim Me- J Kenner snippet

I look at him, at this man who commands an empire. But right now
the power and the fame and the money mean nothing. He is just a man. My man. And in that moment I must acknowledge the truth that
has gone unspoken and unexamined for so long—I am falling in love with Damien  Stark.

The thought doesn’t scare me. On the contrary, it makes me smile.

He matches my grin, then brushes his fingertip over my lower lip. I
open my mouth, drawing him in, tasting the chlorine and the soft comfort of
Damien’s skin. “What are you thinking about?”

“You,” I admit. “Always you.”

“What about me?”

I allow my smile to widen. “Close your eyes, Mr. Stark, and I’ll
show you.”

His brow lifts, but he complies, and I move closer, then stroke my
fingers over his slick, wet chest.

“I’m going to make love to you, Damien.” My words are so full of
emotion they feel too big for my throat. “I’m going to take your mind off
everything that’s bothering you. And a lot more effectively than swimming laps.”
It’s late—after three—and I’m tired. I’m a bit sore, too, but it doesn’t matter,
because I need this moment with Damien. I need to take care of him now, to
stroke and soothe him.

I need it—and I desperately hope that he needs me, too.

Katy Evans Birthday Bash interview

Picture

We are so exited to have the opportunity of interviewing the lovely Katy  Evans, author of Real .Thank you for joining us.

Thanks so much for having me!

What/who inspired you to start writing? Reading. I've always been a reader before I was a writer.

What is your favourite part of a book? Everything, but the characters are what sell me.

When naming your characters, do you give any thought to the actual
meaning? I'm a very instinctive writer so, many times, no. Once I get the essence of a
character well drawn out, I just grab a huge list of names and one "jumps" at  me, and I know for certain that that's the character's name.

Would you ever write a different genre? If I had the inspiration for it, yes, absolutely.

What advice would you give inspiring writers?  Practice and persistence and always, always (no matter what the devil in your  head tells you) believe that you have something special to say that no one else in the world can say it quite like you.

What made you come up with your book titles?  Remy. He totally gave me the title REAL. It's all he wanted from the  beginning of the story.

Who is your favourite character from your books and why? I seriously love them all. I love Brooke so much, and I grew so attached to  viewing things from her eyes and feeling things with her passion. I love her for   being so strong, and sweet, and so in love with Remy - and so utterly attuned to  her soul mate from the beginning. I love Melanie, Pete, Riley. But Remington  Tate, I admit, holds a very special place in my heart. He's changed my life in  so many ways, even in the way I listen to music now.

If you could work with any fellow author who would it be and why? Ooh, there are so many people I'd be honored to work with! But I think the  first I'd go with it my friend Monica Murphy. We met at a writing class online  years ago and we hit it off beautifully and we've been in contact ever  since.

Who are your top five authors/books

Oh, I have so many! Abbi Glines? I love her! LOVE. HER. Every single book of
hers. Tammara Webber. I can't wait to read Jessica Sorensen's continuation of
Callie and Kayden, I loved the first book so much. Colleen Hoover is
jaw-droppingly amazing. And my all-time favorites, of course. Suzan Elizabeth
Phillips, Linda Howard, Lisa Kleypas.

Tell us five things about you that we would not know

Well, let's see. I love my big mastiff and two pugs. I have an unhealthy
addiction to dark chocolate. I've resisted buying a kindle for years until REAL
made me get one so I could check if the kindle files were properly formatted. I
have been married with my own soul mate for seventeen years and he still manages
to give me butterflies. And I have two beautiful children who are growing up to
mesmerize, surprise, and amaze me. :)

Thank you for taking part.

Forever you - sandi Lynn snippet

Forever you - sandi Lynn snippet

Tonight was a turning point for me. Ellery let her guard down and showed me her broken side. I knew when I saw the scars on her wrists, she had a troubled past. I never dreamed she would have to fight cancer. She closed her eyes as she left her head resting on my shoulder. She was exhausted and it was late. I needed to get her home. I picked her up from the sand and carried her across the beach. She put her arms around my neck and laid her head on my chest. I held her tight. I needed her to feel safe with me. I opened the door to the Range Rover and gently laid her in the front seat. She started to stir so I whispered to her, “Sleep angel.”

I pulled out of the parking lot and drove to her apartment. I kept looking at her as she peacefully slept. She looked like an angel. Everything I tried to bury tonight came back to the surface and drowned my fears with a bit of hope. Maybe, just maybe, something could come of our friendship one day. I pulled up to curb of her apartment. Her purse was lying next to her so I opened it and grabbed her keys. I got out and walked around to the passenger side and opened the door. I carefully picked her up as she put her arms around my neck and walked her to the door. I inserted the key and lightly kicked the door open with my foot. I carried her down the hallway to her bedroom and gently laid her on the bed.  I looked around the room and saw a blanket in the corner. I walked over, picked it up and covered her with it to keep her warm. I stood over her while she slept and ran the back of my hand down her soft cheek. “Sleep well angel and sweet dreams.”

TL Messruther blog tour

Where are you from?
Kingston Upon Hull -  UK.

Tell us your latest  news?
My  latest news - I'm boring I don't really have none. My book goes/has
just gone on sale. Oh and I've almost finished book 2 of the Love, Lies and Hurt
trilogy.

When and why did you begin writing?
When I met B through a page  she needed help with admins  (JB McGee). It's always something I've had an  interest in. It wasn't till  I met her that I started writing again. It was  October/November time  2012.

When did you first consider yourself a  writer?
I still don't consider my self a writer now. I'm still waiting for  reality to hit.

What inspired you to write your first  book?
I'm not sure.  I was just sat trying to  brain storm, and came up with a few ideas (might put  pen to paper with  these ideas at a later date) but then this one came to me and  it  stuck.

Do you have a specific writing style?
No. I just write what  comes to  mind.

How did you come up with the title?
It just came  to me when I was writing and it stuck, it also helped pull together the names for the remaining trilogy.

Is there a message in your novel that  you want readers to grasp?
Take what  ever life throws at ya. Good or  bad. When you fall in love you know the other is  the right one.

How  much of the book is realistic?
To be honest none of  it.

Are  experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own
life?
No. Its all make belief.

What books have most influenced your life most?
Fifty shades of grey. With out them I wouldn't of met some truly amazing people who have inspired me.

If you had to choose, which writer would you consider a mentor?
JB McGee.

What book are you reading now?
Oh that's a hard one. I'm a fast reader and in the past two weeks I have
read alsorts.
From this moment & seduced by Lexi Buchanan.
Haven  from  the storm by Sarah Dosher.
Tania by Crystal D Spears.
Forever black by Sandi Lynn.
Right now I'm between  books - looking for  something new.

Are there any new authors that have  grasped your  interest?
L Chapman.

 What are your current  projects?
I'm currently  working on book 2 of the Love, Lies and Hurt  trilogy.

Name one entity that  you feel supported you outside of family
members.
Louise Chapman with out a  doubt. We joke she is my PA.

If you  had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest
book?
Nope. I am happy with everything about  Confused By Love.

Can  you share a little of your current work with  us?
Well all I can say is -  without giving to much away, I'm working on book
two (title hasn't been  revealed yet, so you have to wait longer for that) and
also working on  something else (again not revealed yet) but all I can say right
now is  Love, Lies and Hurt trilogy is not the only thing I'm working on.

Is  there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?
Medical  bits. That's the only bit I cant do. Oh and editing. I suck at editing.

Who  is your favourite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work?
That's not a fair question. I cant answer that with  just one name.
We have  JB McGee, JL Mac, Crystal Spears, AC Marchman,  Lexi Buchanan.
There writing  skills are truly awesome.

Do you have to travel much concerning your  book(s)?
No. I have never travelled so in  book one I stick to what I know. We do venture out in book two and three though.

Who designed the covers?
Indie Pixel Studios, there work is amazing.

What was the hardest part of writing your  book?
I would have to say the  beginning. Once I got the first few chapters out the way the rest just came  to me as I wrote.

Did you learn anything from  writing your book and what was it?
Okay - I noticed that the way we do and  say things in the  UK are totally different to he US.The US have never heard  of mushy  peas, and everytime they visit the doctor they have to have there  vitals  taken by a nurse. In the UK it's a case of seeing the doctor and  leaving.

Do you have any advice for other writers?
Don't  force your self. Relax, let the story come to you but most importantly
have  fun and enjoy your self. As two other authors once told me - to succeed in
the writing business you need a thick skin.

Do you have anything specific  that you want to say to your readers?
Yeah - just Thank you for all the  support. With out my supporters I don't know what I would do. They make  everything worth it. I hope you enjoy Confused By Love <3

“Shit, Claire is back!” I say and run to the bathroom. I hide in the bathroom  putting my knickers back normal. When I return, I can’t look him in the eyes. I am all red and flustered. I walk out the bedroom into the living quarters of the  suite. Claire comes out and says, “Alright, Izzy. I’m going to get my things  ready. We have to be down stairs in ten minutes, so hurry up and get ready!”

Okay ill start by saying: I have fallen  in love with this book the moment I started it. This author has really put a lot  of effort into this book and the outcome.... AWESOME!!!! I have also found me a
new book boyfriend and damn is it going to be hard finding one to compare!

Its the 2nd of April and Izzy has an interview with Mr Mills, owner of  D-Ms Fashion. Her stomach is tied in knots as this is the first job she applied
for after quitting her job as a model. Izzy was in an accident and that caused  her to quiet her job as a catwalk model because she didn't feel that she was  progressing with healing. Now after Six months after the accident Izzy started  making progress, and she now regrets leaving her job....

As she walks  into the interview room she notices 3 people. A man and 2 woman. The man, whom I  assume is the boss, stands and holds his hand out to me. I take it, making sure  I give a firm handshake. He is the perfect definition of beautiful... She is
captivated by his lips and quickly focuses on his eyes again.

After a  week and no reply from D-M Fashion she looks on the internet for more available  jobs. There is one for a catwalk model and she decides to apply. After she
presses enter only then does she that the position is for the same company as well. As she stares at the application she is dragged out of her thoughts with  her phone  ringing. She doesn't recognise the number, but answers and it is the one and only Donte Mills. She got the job as fashion designer.

As the days  went on Donte flirted with Izzy making her feel very uncomfortable, but in the  end she gave up to be with the man she loves, although there is one problem
standing between their happiness and that is his fiancé Amanda. Donte assures
Izzy that what he feels for her is out of this world and he wants to be with
her!!!! For the time being she agrees...

They learn to know each other,  go on dates and do sleepovers at their presidential sweet whenever they get the  opportunity.

This was really an amazing book to read. I am not going to elaborate any further
into the story as you will have to get the book and read for yourself. If not I
guarantee you are missing out on alot!!!!  ~C~

Tracey Manning birthday bash interview

Picture

We are so exited to have the opportunity of interviewing the lovely Tracey  Manning .Thank you for joining us

What/who inspired you to start writing? As a young girl I found writing to  be a great source of expression for me, by the time I was ten years old I  had figured out how to write events going on in my life in journals to look like  a story as a cover-up in case anyone saw them. This developed into a passion as  I entered my teens, and eventually a driving force to write more and more.

What is your favourite part of a book? My favorite part of any book is  when I can find a character I really connect with. Some of the greatest books I  have ever read were never best sellers, never written by a household name and  yet they wrote characters that have stayed with me years after closing the  book.

When naming your characters, do you give any thought to the actual meaning? When I am choosing character names I think of the personality of the character  first and foremost. I tend to have an image in my head and sometimes even give  them names of people I have known in life who have had some of the same  qualities or personality traits. The meaning behind a name is more about  personality than a straight forward definition for me.

Would you ever write a different genre? I usually write and then decide  what genre it is going to be. I am not hardcore YA/NA romance, paranormal, etc.  I can’t wait to get my hands dirty in some thriller/suspense titles. I am  keeping an open mind for the future.

What advice would you give inspiring writers?
The only thing I would say  is you have to believe in yourself enough to be ok if the whole world doesn’t  like it. I spent over ten years holding myself back out of fear, and finally one  day (with my eyes closed tight) I did it and have never looked back. I had no
editor (just got one honestly) and no cover artist (still do my own covers) and  I cried as I sold my first copy. All you need is ONE person to believe in you to  make you grow and
become greater than you ever thought you could be.

What made you come up with your book titles?
I live in the Mid Coast of  Maine and it is primarily a fishing community. I chose my titles after some  poems I grew up listening to, I wanted to honor my hardworking community with  that.

Who is your favourite character from your books and why?
My favourite  character would have to be Brent, he was only supposed to be in the first book  and somehow became this amazing character I couldn’t let go of.  I love when
that happens and always go with it, I like to surprise myself and he certainly
surprised me in the best way.

If you could work with any fellow author who would it be and why?
Oh gosh,  too many to list but if I had to pick just one I would have to say…. *crickets
chirp* Wait! I have to pick just one? Oh I can’t pick just one! Maybe a  round table event ;) lol

Who are your top five authors/books
Stephen King first and foremost, (any book and yes I have read almost every
one)
Anne Rice, or (A.N. Roquelaure)

Megan Smith- Birthday Bash Interview

Picture

We are so excited to have the opportunity of interviewing the lovely Megan Smith. Thank you for joining us.

Thank you so much for having me.

What/who inspired you to start writing?

Well I started doing some Beta Reading for Shey Stahl this past winter and after helping her I needed to prove to myself that I could write my own book.

What is your favorite part of a book?

I love the whole book, but Thanksgiving is a favorite part of mine.

When naming your characters, do you give any thought to the actual meaning?

No thought of the meaning when into the name but it took me a few tries until I finally picked the names that worked for me. They have to fit the part in my head.

Would you ever write a different genre?

I never really gave this a thought just yet, I would like to try but we will see what happens.

What advice would you give inspiring writers?

Just Believe! There were so many times when I wanted to give up, but I just kept telling myself to just believe that I can get it done. I even got a tattoo half way through the book on my foot a key and under that it says Just Believe.

What made you come up with your book titles?

It was originally called Fall Into You but I wasn’t feeling it and after listening to a favorite song of mine I came up with Trying Not To Love You.

Who is your favorite character from your books and why?

SMH, that would have to be Hunter. Hunter a little bit of my husband in the looks and some of the things he does. I didn’t plan it that way but as I was writing he just wanted a piece of him. He’s strong, knows what he wants (Even fights what he wants) protective and passionate.

Who are your top five authors/books
Shey Stahl – Racing on the Edge Series and Waiting for You
Kristen Proby – With Me in Seattle Series
Molly McAdams – Taking Chances
S.C. Stephens – Thoughtless, Effortless and Reckless
Gail Mchugh - Collide

Tell us five things about you that we would not know

Super Shy
I’ve been with my hubby since I was 16
I have ADD so it makes writing hard at times
I hate Cheese
I’ve never been on an airplane

Thank you for taking part.

You are welcome!

Birthday Bash Interview- Marissa Carmel

We are so excited to have the opportunity of interviewing the lovely Marissa Carmel Thank you for joining us

I’m so excited for you to have me! Thank you again!

What/who inspired you to start writing?
My mom. She is crazy creative and I think she instilled the love of writing in me at a young age.

What is your favorite part of your book?
Do I only get to pick one? The fight scenes, the snarky dialogue and the romance.

When naming your characters, do you give any thought to the actual meaning? Sometimes. Justice is very significant. But you’ll have to read iFeel to find out why
Would you ever write a different genre?
I really like contemporary romance, so I think I would stay with that, but I do a have a project in the works that’s not paranormal and I’m really excited about it. It’s called Vocals, about a boy who won’t speak and a girl who won’t sing, but are both musically talented.

What advice would you give inspiring writers?
  Make sure it feels right.

What made you come up with your book titles?
iFeel because the main character is an empath, she can feel the emotions of those around her. Gravitational Pull because of the draw Liv and Justice have to each other. It’s very hot and yet at the same time romantic and intense.

Who is your favorite character from your books and why? Definitely Liv, she’s strong even though she has had a lifetime of tribulations, she has cool powers and a super hot angel as a boyfriend. Who wouldn’t want to be her?

If you could work with any fellow author who would it be and why? Emily Walker, she’s cool, has great ideas and we have very similar writing styles. I think if we collaborated on something it might be really good.

Who are your top five authors?
There are too many to name just five! Jonathan Swift is at the top of my list, I love satires and he did it best.

Beth Michele - Birthday bash interview

Picture

Beth Michele is a wife, a mom, an author,  and a lover of all things chocolate, well, anything sweet really.  While stuffing chocolate in her face, she enjoys reading young adult and  new adult novels furiously, and spending time with her husband and two adorable  children who keep her on her peppermint pink painted toes.  Those same children who inspire her to tell silly stories that cause  hysterical giggles to tumble from their
bellies.

Beth loves to laugh and loves to have a  good cry, especially after reading a novel that stretches her soul, one that  makes her feel, and lingers in the corner of her beating
heart.

Beth began writing when she was in middle   school, penning anything from short stories, to poetry, and then later moved on  to write children’s books.  Her
debut novel, Love Love is due out May 8,  2013.

Sweat  is clinging to my palms, my pulse visibly racing through my heated skin. I’m  having a hard time controlling my breathing as the elevator ascends to the  twenty seventh floor. So much for the time I spent  in yoga class. I wring my hands out repeatedly and slowly count to ten. When I   finally get to ten the elevator pings. Steadying my wobbly legs and wiping the moisture trickling down my forehead, I head down the hall to apartment 27-F,  attempting one last deep, calming breath before I ring the doorbell. In less
than a second, I see Dane standing there and freeze. I’ve obviously never  walked through a door before, because when he opens it, the feet that I so  often rely on have no idea what to do. I look down at my awkwardness   telepathically expecting a response, and wait. Still nothing, so I look up. My eyes sweep the length of his body. The natural inclination would be to stare into his green emeralds, but it’s impossible not to move lower, a lot lower. I  can almost trace a line through the bunched cream fabric of his pants. Is it even real? It should be illegal to walk around with that thing. Dane’s lips
part, forming a perfect o, for orgasm, I believe. The one I’m about to have all  over his brand new hardwood floors.

His  lips curve up in a mouth watering smile. “See anything you
like?”

My  blue eyes manage to crawl back up to his. “Nah, not really.”

His  lips twitch, while the green in his eyes sparkle. “So, shall we
sit?”

That’s not exactly what I had in mind.

                          Interview

Picture

We are so exited to have the opportunity of interviewing the lovely Beth. Thank you for joining us

Thank you for having me!  I'm very excited to be here!

What/who inspired you to start writing?
I've been writing for a long  time.  It's just something I've always loved to do, but I would definitely  say that my husband and my children have inspired me.  My husband is a
writer also, and he helped me to see that while I didn't consider myself "a  writer," I actually was one.  My children have inspired me since the day  they were born to tell stories, and finally one day I started writing them  down.  There's nothing better than hearing them giggle and seeing them  smile.

What is your favourite part of a book?
Hmmm....there are many, but I think  for me, it's the moment the angst or whatever is holding the characters back  from coming together, finally dissintegrates.  I'm also a huge fan of  happily ever afters, and I love playful, flirty banter.

When naming your charcters, do you give any thought to the actual  meaning?
That's an interesting question.  I don't necessarily think  about meaning, just try to come up with cool and different names.

Would you ever write a different genre?
I don't want to say never, but I  absolutely LOVE romance, so I will definitely be writing these books for a long  time to come!  However, I've written some children's books I will be  publishing in the not too distant future as well.

What advice would you give inspiring writers? Same advice as Nike  gives...JUST DO IT!  If you want to write, sit down and write.  When  inspiration hits, write...Something pops in your head...write...and don't  stop!  Don't let anyone sway you from your passion.

What made you come up with your book titles? I was trying to come up with  something different, and given the nature of my story, Love Love fit.  It's  also a play on words, which I like.

Who is your favourite character from your books and why? Brad is my  favorite character.  Why?  Because he's quirky, and funny, and  real...at least in my head he is...LOL

If you could work with any fellow author who would it be and why? This is  a tough question, because there are so many who inspire me.  If I HAD to  pick one, I would say Colleen Hoover because I think she is simply  brilliant.

Who are your top five authors/books
I'm bucking the system and putting  eight!  :)

 Colleen Hoover -- Hopeless/Slammed
J.A. Redmerski -- The Edge of  Never
Wait For You -- J. Lynn
Jessica Park -- Flat Out Love
Cheryl  McIntyre -- Sometimes Never
Tammara Webber -- Easy
Jamie McGuire --  Beautiful Disaster
Abbi Glines -- Fallen Too Far

Thank you for taking part.

Nathan L Flamank Birthday Bash Interview

We are so exited to have the opportunity of interviewing the lovely Nathan L Flamank. Who is then first male we have interviewed. Thank you for joining us

What/who inspired you to start writing?
I've always loved books and writing stories; this started very early for me, probably around the age of ten, mainly to escape the world around me (mine wasn't the best of childhoods), but it wasn't until college back in the early 90s that I really began to write, it was a college lecturer named John Moore, who taught history, and he was the first to tell me that he thought I could tell a good story, and for many years it was just a hobby and then I thought well why not and so I published via amazon my first novel RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE.

What is your favourite part of a book?

My favourite part of any book is dialogue; it doesn't matter to me what kind of novel it is, if the dialogue rings false I lose interest; in my work I always try (and I use the word try as no one is perfect, least of all me) to make sure that the dialogue sounds real; if I feel that a character would curse a lot then I make sure its as colourful as possible. In my writing I also try to make the sex as real as possible - you know messy, noisy etcetera as I tend to think that we all know how embarrassing the actual act can be (some of the noises the human body makes during sex is highly comical) and so I always endeavour to bring a natural/realistic aspect to any descriptions of sex/sexual activity.

When naming your charcters, do you give any thought to the actual meaning?

Naming characters just happens with me, when I created my series of erotic tales featuring Seth & Amber the female name just popped in to my head and I thought that someone named Amber would be drawn to an older sounding name and Seth just seemed appropriate and no, I don't give any thought to the real meaning of a name (is that bad haha).

Would you ever write a different genre?

I started writing erotica purely by chance, my debut novel RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE started life as a very dark, sometimes gruesome, adult thriller; a friend commented on an early draft that the sex scenes were well written and that she thought it was more of an erotic thriller and gradually it became the thrilling romance that is available now (at least thats what readers have told me). RATM is a stand alone novel where as the Seth & Amber series has grown tale by tale. I tend to think that the term "genre" is outdated, a book can be many things, look at McCarthy's THE ROAD; its a post apocalyptic tale but if you really read it, it has elements of horror, of romance (some of the flashbacks to the protagonist's early life with his wife are some of the best romance scenes I've ever read). so I think you can mix genres if you're prepared to put the time in.

What advice would you give inspiring writers?

My advice to any aspiring writer is to just start writing, don't put too much thought in to it, just let the words flow and eventually you'll hit on something that you think "has legs" and it'll flow from there; I must have three hundred short stories in a drawer that are just awful, but from those terrible pages I've learned so much. I'd also recommend reading as much as possible and to not be afraid of failure; the more you write, the better you'll get.

What made you come up with your book titles?

Book titles are a pain in the rear, I really struggle with them and a story can be finished for weeks before a suitable title pops in to my head. The only title that came easily was RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, and if you ever read the story I'd like to think the title is self-evident. The Seth & Amber tales tend to relate to specific incidents in the story I'm telling, but its still the hardest part for me.

Who is your favourite character from your books and why?

I have a huge soft spot for two of my leading female characters: Chloe from RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE and Amber from the S&A series, both are very strong, intelligent, sexy and adventurous. Both characters aren't 'atypical' female leads; they don't need men to protect them, they don't need some billionaire to sweep them off their feet and I have had a lot of positive feedback from female readers thanking me for not making them soft and weak.

If you could work with any fellow author who would it be and why?
It'll never happen but I would love to work with a British author called Tim Willocks (he doesn't write erotica), in my opinion he's probably Britain's best living writer and I'd recommend your readers to check his work out.

Who are your top five authors/books

I tend to read non erotic works of fiction, I always worry that if I start reading erotica it'll influence my writing style so with that in mind here are my favourite authors with my favourite book by them:
Tim Willocks - Green River Rising
Stephen King - Salem's Lot
Nicholas Evans - The Horse Whisperer
Christopher Fowler - The Bryant & May Mysteries
Harper Lee - To Kill A Mockingbird

Nicole Andrews Moore Birthday Bash Interview

We are so exited to have the opportunity of interviewing Nicole Andrew Moore.
Thank you for joining us

What/who inspired you to start writing?
Writing is cathartic.  And it always came really easily to me.  So  when I was unhappily married so long ago, I started writing stories of  hope…women who had married badly the first time and managed to get that second  chance.

What is your favourite part of writing a book?
I love watching the story develop.  I begin with a concept, an  idea.  I have some sense of where I’m going.  And I usually have a few  scenes in mind.  The rest is this lovely wonderful surprise as I see what  gets me from point A to B.

When naming your characters, do you give any thought to the actual meaning?
Sometimes.  In First a Dream, since it a contemporary telling of all the Cinderella tales, the main character had to have a name that meant  ‘beauty.’  And that’s how Bella came from Isabella.  Then her love  interest, our hero, he swooped in like an angel…Gabriel…and saved her, while she saved him, too.

Would you ever write a different genre?
I already write in several genres.  While I’m best known for my  contemporary romance, as a blogger, I was known for my memoir writing.   Keeping Up With Kenna is the story of my daughter, Kenna, who was born at 9.6  ounces.  I have another memoir, Live the List, that was a project that  changed our life.  I have written self-help because Yahoo! pays me to do  so.  I’m a Shine Parenting Guru and a Shine Relationship and Dating  expert.  And in June, I will be publishing the first book of the Dark  Redemption series, Dark Dawn, a paranormal romance.

What advice would you give aspiring writers?
Write what you like.  Write what you know.  Write what you believe  in.  It takes a lot of work to be successful and you better love what you  do to make it worthwhile.  This is not a career to be in for the money.

What made you come up with your book titles?
Titles vary.  Sometimes the title is obvious, like Sugar Daddy.  First a Dream comes from a Carl Sandburg quote: Nothing happens unless first a  dream.   Hiding Out and Finally Found are a result of the game hide and seek playing  such a huge role in the first book.

Who is your favourite character from your books and why?
Marti, of all my characters, is more me than any of the rest.  I love  that, but I also love being able to take her further, have her say what I only  dream of saying.

If you could work with any fellow author who would it be and why?
I have to tell you; recently, I have been very fortunate to have so many  writers say that they would like to work with me. I would love to write with JB  McGee.  She has been my mentor on this journey.  I think we’d work  really well together. Rumor has it…we have similar styles.

Have you got any up and coming books for 2013?
Whew. The list is long and constantly growing.  Melissa Brodsky and I  have committed to writing four books together this year in the Dark Redemption  paranormal romance series.  The first book, Dark Dawn, will be out in  June.  In May, I’ll be publishing the sequel to Hiding Out, titled Finally  Found.  And I have promised the next installment of the New Hope series for  late June…or early July.  I’ll have to see who is publishing
when.

Who are your top five authors/books
I absolutely devoured Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series.  I loved  Amy Tan’s The Hundred Secret Senses.   A Prayer for Owen Meany by John  Irving spoke to me.  The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery is one  of my all-time favorites.  In romance…I am a huge fan of Christine  Feehan.  And I am dying for the Deeper series by JB McGee and JL Mac.

Thank you for taking part.

Birthday Bash Interview- Belle-

Birthday Bash Interview- Belle-

We are so excited to have the opportunity of interviewing the lovely Belle,
author of Friend-Zoned. Thank you for joining us. Anytime. Thanks for having me.

What/who inspired you to start writing?
Honestly, I never planned to write. Tina
just came to me one day. I pictured the perfect woman. An emotionally strong
woman who is caring and selfless. So once I was familiar enough with Tina to
tell you her shoe size, I started picturing who would make the perfect partner
for her.

What is your favourite part of a book? Their first kiss. Le sigh.  When naming your characters, do you give any thought to the actual meaning? Yes, absolutely. Tina was originally going to be named Tea (said Tey-ah) but I  thought this would be too confusing and have people asking why I named a  character after a cup of tea.  Nik and Max were both named specifically. I  never released this information in the book but Nik and Max were named by their  father who came from a Russian background. Nik’s sisters were named by their  mother who comes from a Mexican background. Nikolai means victory of the people  and Maximilian means greatest or great one. Ilia (Nik and Max’s father) always  told the boys they were destined to do great things.

Would you ever write  a different genre?
Sure. I’d love to try my hand at something a little more  serious. Still romance though.

What advice would you give inspiring writers?
Don’t give up. If you think you’re good enough to be published, do as much
research as you can on how to promote yourself and just do it. There are days
when you feel like giving up but all I’ll say is it’s definitely worth every
tantrum, late night and coffee high.

What made you come up with your book titles?
Well as soon as I thought up the storyline to Friend-Zoned, I didn’t  think anything else worked for it. I tried a few other title names but it didn’t  feel right.

Who is your favourite character from your books and why?
I  absolutely love Diego/Trick. He is a bit of a dark horse and has been pushing  himself away from the group and Lola but we’ll all find out why when I release a   novella based on his relationship with Lola. He is a beautiful soul. **wink  wink**

If you could work with any fellow author who would it be and why?
Kristen
Ashley. For sure. I love her sense of humor. And her dominant male characters.
She is just a winner every time. Who are your top five authors/books Kristen
Ashley, R.L. Mathewson, Cara McKenna, Jude Deveraux and Judith McNaught.

Tell us five things about you that we would not know
 1. I suffer from a  disease called I Heart Caramel Lattes. I’ve been suffering this disease for a  few years now and it’s devastating. It causes me to drink at least five caramel  lattes a day and hide the evidence.

2. I write all my notes by hand. I have notebooks filled to the brim with notes, one liners and jokes on upcoming books.

3. I don’t trust technology (hence the notebooks).

4. Writing Friend-Zoned  caused me to have numbness in my left shoulder blade for over a week after I’d  finished because I’d gone at it so hard.

  5. My brother wants so badly to be a character in my book that when I refused he made me write a ten page book  just for him called Joe Kickass: A story of a little Aussie battler named Ryan  that everybody loved.  Cute, huh? Yeah, well my brother is thirsty years  old. Not so cute now! **laughing**

Thank you so much for join us.

Bella Aurora- Friends- Zoned Review

Friends Zone Review

Picture

Amazing. Tina works across from Nik and has done for two years. She admires him  from afar till one day she decided to take a risk. A risk that changes her life
forever. After telling Nik she would be his friend they start to hand out.

Tina and three friends meet Nik and three of his brothers at the white
rabbit as planned and there friendship grows from there.
After months of  falling in love but battling feelings things take a turn when Sissy shows up.

Just who is this Sissy and what does she want?

When Omar causes trouble it  pushes Tina and Nik apart but also closer together.

Friend zoned is a story  that starts as friendship but blossoms into something more. Of course nothing is  straight forward and Tina and Nik soon find that out.
It's emotional and  funny. You connect to the characters very easily and it's like your part of the  story.

Interview with L Calell

Picture

What/who inspired you to start writing?
Over the years I have read many books and varied genres, some of my early inspirations were Patricia Cornwell, Stephen King, Erma Bombeck, John Grisham, JK Rowling but more recently I have delighted in the romance/YA genre and enjoyed Stephanie Meyer, SC Stephens, Rebecca Donovan and Teresa Mummert. Also turning 40 this year (eek) propelled me in to the 'what have I achieved in life' realm.
What is your favourite part of your book?
This is difficult, as a lot of it is quite intense my favourite parts are the lighter moments when Katie & Chris are just having plain and simple (sometimes flirty) fun!

When naming your charcters, do you give any thought to the actual meaning?
The first names had no meaning but surnames throughout the book linked to my world. Calder was from the last street I lived with my father and Williams was my grandfathers surname and he was proud of my every moment in life and I know he will be bursting with pride now.

Would you ever write a different genre?
Of course, always open to opportunities. I write from the heart though and just have to follow its lead.

What advice would you give inspiring writers?
Always believe in yourself and never give up! I am still very much in the honeymoon period myself but I have met some very good friends in the writing community who have guided me well and all I can do is 'pay it forward'. If you need help just ask.

What made you come up with your book titles?
After finishing Disconnected, I asked myself 'how does that make me feel?' And the title is the answer!

Who is your favourite character from your books and why?
Gerry is definitely my favourite character, he is so happy and full of fun. I love them all really, they have been part of a long journey but somehow Gerry's happy, round face just kept me moving forward. In such a deeply emotional story he always made me smile.

If you could work with any fellow author who would it be and why?
Erma Bombeck - as a teenager I read ' I lost everything in the Post-Natal Depression' and I laughed out loud continuously throughout - a new experience as a moody teenager. Since then I continued to read her books and found most of them equally as amusing. Sadly I will not be able to fulfil this dream.

Who are your top five authors/books
I am going to go for books of 2012 as there are just too many to list:
Fifty Shades Trilogy/EL James - who doesn't love Christian?
Thoughtless Trilogy/SC Stephens - I have a D-Bags t-shirt!
Beautiful Disaster/Jamie McGuire - Currently reading Walking Disaster and loving it even more from Travis's POV
Breathing Series/Rebecca Donovan - This series really affected me, I will be looking for closure on the final instalment later this year.
Slammed series/Colleen Hoover - first book I have truly 'ugly-cried' over.

Thank you for giving me this opportunity.

Thank you L Calell

Disconnected - L Calell Review

Review

A really dramatic story and a  thoroughly fascinating read. Disconnected will be a hit with most readers. If  you like to feel the emotions as a story unfolds this will hit the spot. I felt  I was on an emotional roller coaster with the highs and lows (where I shed a few  tears). The author has managed to capture the imagination of the reader through
vivid description and real substance making Disconnected a very highly
recommended read.

Excellent Its  5/5

J.L. Mac But depressing talk aside. Who has questions for me? I have the whole crew with me so fire away.

Ena May I am very sad about Restore Me getting pushed back but hopefully you will know a release date soon ????

Mandysalt: Hi everyone

Katie Mac: so you know that Damon makes me swoon

Katie Mac: Is he based on someone you know?

J.L. Mac Hi Mandy! Yes I am hoping to know more soon. I've just heard from my agent earlier and she is fantastic so I know she is working fast for us.

Katie Mac: I guess cougar moment would be more accurate!

Paralover: How did you go about writing? And what inspired you?

J.L. Mac Damon really isnt based on a real life person per se. I wish he was  but he is one of a kind all on his own.

Mandysalt: What made you write wreck me and is Jo and Damon based on anyone x

Katie Mac: sigh

Mandysalt: Not only have you written wreck me but also seven years of bad luck when is the follow on to that coming out x

J.L. Mac Honestly what inspired this series was holiday traffic. Some jerk cut me off and made this big piled up mess of cars and I cussed him a bit, flipped him off and he was somewhat attractive. I thought to myself wouldnt it be shitty if I met him not realizing who he was and somehow liked him. Loved him. On the ten minute drive back to my place I dreamed up Jo and Damon.

Mandysalt: Very good love it x

Paralover: lol that is awesome

Katie Mac: I seem to remember the term "penis wrinkle"

Melanie: How long did it take you write Wreck Me?

J.L. Mac Jo isnt based on anyone in particular either. The only one with a real live muse is Grams. My great grandmother at circus peanut candy like crazy and was hysterical to chat with. I channeled her while writing Grams character.

linres I am sad that happened but in turn very GLAD it did! Because it inspired an amazing book and two AMAZING "people"!

J.L. Mac Yes penis wrinkle is one of my favorite things to call people who irritate me. lol

Paralover: I wanna know when Jo gets to to take charge a bit with the "Big man"? lol

TaraIs there going to be a second book to seven years ?

J.L. Mac I wrote Wreck Me in less than a week. It was short handed into a spiral note book in three days. Restore Me has been the same.

Paralover: it seems he calls the shot (Hot) but a girls gotta have some fun

Mandysalt: I will have to start using penis wrinkle

mamaof2 LOVE Gram! I can imagine the fun you had with your own Gram! So looking forward to Restore me. Do we know how far it has been pushed back

Melanie: holy moly! one week?! WOW!

J.L. Mac There is a second book to Seven Years and I hope to get that wrapped up in the next few months.

J.L. Mac as for Jo taking charge? She does in a huge way in Restore Me.

mamaof2 One week! That's impressive!

Paralover: YES! I love girl power lol

Melanie: how do you juggle writing, household duties, family, etc? do you have any secrets/tips to help others?

Mandysalt: Did you ever thing you would have two best selling books to your name xx

J.L. Mac Thank you. As of right now I don't have any guess as to when Restore Me will get the green light to publish. I'm hoping it's sooner rather than later.

mamaof2 I will be stalking Barnes and Noble! LOL Can't wait!

J.L. Mac Never!! Never thought I would be a best seller. I had goals of course but you never really expect anything. You just hope others might like what you've written. I am still shocked at the response my work has gotten. It's beyond humbling.

Katie Mac: Melanie in Turquoise had a great question that I would love to know the answer to too.

Mandysalt: Are you enjoying co writing with JB x

Katie Mac: For those of you coming in, click the join chat at the bottom of the screen!

Paralover: Do you think you'll ever try "fantasy"/Paranormal books?

J.L. Mac @Melanie, I honestly have no clue how I do it. I don't sleep much so that helps. I have two small kids, my husband is Army overseas right now so I depend on my parents and older brothers a lot. They pitch in the play with the kids and keep them taken care of when I have to work. I just run around and do things as I can. I have been trying to make some sort of schedule though.

J.L. Mac I wrote Seven years and it is romantic suspense. The Deeper Series with JB has been AMAZONG so far. We are both really loving dabbling in romantic paranormal/suspense/thriller/mystery/bds&m/erotica. Deeper seriously hits all genres and JB's ease with writing suspense is inspiring. I told her straight away she has found her natural writing nitch. She's brill with thriller/suspense

Katie Mac: That is something I can't wait to get my hands on! Deeper is going to be awesome!

Hooked on books-Admin: Can't wait for Restore me and Deeper

Katie Mac: That is something I can't wait to get my hands on! Deeper is going to be awesome!

Hooked on books-Admin: Can't wait for Restore me and Deeper

Hooked on books-Admin: ***Were is the Wine Damon??***

Paralover: I really love any book type but am a fan of Para with a bit of romance also thriller really takes you in the story

J.L. Mac Anyone have a question directly for Jo, Damon, Grams, Barbie girl, Brian the gay assistant, Edward the asshole?

Bobbie: Yay I got in!

J.L. Mac welcome Bobbie!

J.L. Mac I am a closet para fan too

Paralover: Jo, do you want kids?

Bobbie: thank you Ive been trying for 20 min, What'd I miss?

EBreson: Do you write chronologically or sort of piece all of the random pieces together when you're finished?

JB McGee: Woot - better late than never, right!

J.L. Mac Um, me? err... I guess if I werent so fucked up I might imagine popping out a couple midgets. I guess I like kids just fine. I've just never imagined me with any. I'm a normal woman though. My uterus tugs a little when I see a slobbery baby on someones shoulder. We'll see I guess.

Mandysalt: Are we going to see more of Edward in restore me x

Hooked on books-Admin: Woop woop B made it

Bobbie: When Will Restore me be available?

Mandysalt: Yeah JB is in the house

J.L. Mac Yay! JB has entered the room yall! If you have questions for her feel free

JB McGee: did you answer the question about writing in chronological order?

J.L. Mac When I write I usually write it in fragments and then kind of quilt it together. I short hand all my stories in spiral notebooks.

Katie Mac: taskmaster! Love it!

Paralover: Trust me I'm all kinds of Fucked up and yet I still want kinds lol

Paralover: kids ughh typing!

J.L. Mac Edward is huge in Restore Me. We get to take a look into Damons past in RM. With the help of Jo we find out that sometimes shit is better left dead and buried.

Bobbie: i cant wait .....

JB McGee: haha - if you leave it dead and buried you can't dig deep to unearth it.

J.L. Mac write that down jb, lol
JB McGee: ok

Hooked on books-Admin: Could that be a line in dig deep??

JB McGee: and folks this is how our private conversations go...when we're not acting like teenagers.

Paralover: Damon, How bout you? do you see kids with Jo?

Hooked on books-Admin: You two always act like teenagers

tjasha you two are amazing..

J.L. Mac I guess if things don't get too screwed up I'll be knocking her up in no time. She doesnt know that though.

J.L. Mac you all have no idea. We chat/skype/talk on the phone and we are worse than 17yr olds

JB McGee: Jaimi and tjasha - join the chat at the bottom right of the page

Paralover: Sneaky  boy or Girl?

Bobbie: LOL

J.L. Mac: oh fancy

JB McGee:  :P

Paralover: And or twins....ya never know lol

J.L. Mac: Damon: both if I can manage it.

J.L. Mac: Anyone else have any questions for any of the crew

Paralover: Jo & Damon. Song that makes you think of the other?

Hooked on books-Admin: Question from someone who can't make it tonight. -If you could write with anyone else who would it be and why? (not including JB)

JB McGee: haha

Bobbie: great questions

Bobbie: ❀

Paralover: Side note: Barbie Girl I will smack the shit out of you if you mess with Damon. just sayin

Mandysalt: Love that question para lover x

J.L. Mac: Damon&Jo: If I had to pick the perfect song to sum it up I'd say... New For You by Reeve Carney

Hooked on books-Admin:  No fighting ladies

Alison I have just got in  This may have already been asked, so not a problem if you don't reply but I wondered how/why and what got you writing?

J.L. Mac: As far as writing with anyone else... hmmm...

J.L. Mac: thats tough

J.L. Mac: JB and I write so easily together. I find it difficult imagining it being like that with another author.

JB McGee: I would love to see J.L. Mac and Tiffany Snow team

Mandysalt: Well said x

JB McGee: a

tjasha: what would probably be amazing..

Hooked on books-Admin: I think that would be an amazing book. Good person to work with B

Alison: Thanks jb  I have never used this customer before!

Paralover: Thank you Mandy  Also love that song.

Hooked on books-Admin: Question from someone who can't make it tonight. -What is your favorite part of wreck me? Why?

Alison: Chat lol

JB McGee: Yeah - I know that together JL and Tiffany could bring a sexy book that would keep you on the tops of

your tippy toes. <3

JB McGee: np, alison

Alison: Darn auto correct! Apologises!

Mandysalt: I must said you two are my fav author. You both are great

tjasha: totally agree JB

JB McGee: i hear there is wine here and i should ask for some

JB McGee: thank you, mandy

Paralover: Damon, what do you like to do? sports etc....

J.L. Mac: Favorite part of WM would have to be... when Jo reads the letter. You see really genuine and raw emotion there. It's not her usual jaded or tainted outlook on life. She felt terror, regret and guilt in raw form.

J.L. Mac: Damon: I work. And fuck. Thats about it.

Bobbie: When Will Restore me be available?

Hooked on books-Admin: Question from someone who can't make it tonight. -What inspired you to write seven years of bad luck?

J.L. Mac: Restore Me is going through the dreaded stall right now. Publishers have their hands on my manuscript and are reading/considering the series. I had to allow them time to read and consider the series. Sucks. I hate putting a hold on publishing it.

Mandysalt: I love Damon and Jo can I have some wine please

Bobbie: any time frame?

J.L. Mac: Seven Yeas of Bad Luck has many parallels to my own life. I wrote it after my best friend encouraged me to do it.

Alison: Tell the publishers their killing me...... Lol and they don't want me screaming and crying

Bobbie: was on my birthday to do list ......
J.L. Mac: I'm hoping it will be soon

J.L. Mac: I know Bobbie. :/

Mandysalt: Love the bit of restore me you put on Facebook tonight it made me cry

Paralover: Jo, Why not use your full name?

Hooked on books-Admin: Question from someone who can't make it tonight. -Can you tell me four things about you that we wouldnt know

J.L. Mac: I'm left handed

EBreson: Woo! Bunch of lefties in here

Hooked on books-Admin: Mandy that was fan fiction

Mandysalt: Loved any way lol

Paralover: lol not me

J.L. Mac: umm I love to garden. This past spring and summer I grew all my own veggies and herbs 20:43

JB McGee: How did I not know you're a leftie? Me, too!!

J.L. Mac: um... I have written poetry for years. Thats my first true love.

Bobbie: is wreck available in paperback?

dirtbikemom: Hello j.L Mac I am now a HUGE fan I just finnished Wreck me Last night and boy did it Wreck ME!!

JB McGee: haha - she's waiting on her slack graphic designer to make her jacket for the paperback.

Bobbie: how do i get a signed copy?

J.L. Mac: Wreck Me will be availabel in paperback really soon. I have been working on that. I will announce it once it's ready

J.L. Mac: lmao JB

J.L. Mac: Just ask for it

dirtbikemom I cannot believe the way we were left hanging I have Post Partum depression now lol

J.L. Mac: I'm sure I can sign paperbacks

Paralover: Oh, how is Hemi Jo?

Mandysalt: Has your mom and mom in law read wreck me and if so what did there think of it

Erin Ooh, I'll take a signed paperback

Katie Mac: Same cover as the ebook? Cause that sucker is HAWT!!!

Bobbie:  considered being asked!

Bobbie: please

J.L. Mac: i know! It was bad. I hated doing that but the story just wouldnt change for me. I tried leaving with resolution but the damn thing wouldnt budge.

J.L. Mac: Absolutely Bobbie

Mandysalt: Could I have one too

J.L. Mac: Erin Roth?

Alison: As much as I hate the hanging I also love it lol

Paralover: me to please lol

Hooked on books-Admin: Question from someone who can't make it tonight. -Who is your favourite author and is you writing style similar to theirs?

dirtbikemom: haha you know what I love a good cliff hanger

Erin Howdy. Trying to read on my phone while emptying the dishwasher.

J.L. Mac: i think we all love to hate a cliffy lol

Bobbie: Hooked on books-Admin: great question!

JB McGee: Erin - you can join the chat on the bottom right

Erin: Ahh! Hi!

JB McGee: hiya

Katie Mac: Jaimi, besides pushing Restore Me back, what is the biggest change you've noticed since signing with an agent?

J.L. Mac: fave author. hmmm CJ Roberts is my modern day favorite. But I am the typical Jane Austin, Bronte sisters, Ernest Hemingway fan

J.L. Mac: hence Hemingway/Hemi

dirtbikemom exactly I loved Jo she is alot like on eof my friends and her and Damon have great chemistry I fell in love with both of them

J.L. Mac: he's my real dog

Paralover: awww

J.L. Mac: nice erin!!

dirtbikemom: is JB here??

Bobbie: love CJ

J.L. Mac: CJ is a brill author.

Bobbie: were you in Boston?

Alison: I recently read some of CJ Roberts books and wow

JB McGee: Hola

dirtbikemom: LOVED your Books as well! Ive been dying for the next one and ive been telling my girlfriends to get them too

J.L. Mac: I wasnt in Boston. I wish I was lol

JB McGee: Awe - thank you so much!  Working on that next book. I've been down for about 6 weeks so I'm super behind.

J.L. Mac: :/

Bobbie: my bff finished today

Alison: What was it that inspired you to write John Lewis Mac?

dirtbikemom: Well you are only human even though we are chompin at the bit! lol

Alison: Auto correct is driving me nuts

Hooked on books-Admin: Question from someone who can't make it tonight. -When naming your characters, do you give any thought to the actual meaning?

Mandysalt: Good question

Bobbie: i just told her today Restore me is held up now i can tell her why

Paralover: very good

JB McGee: haha - I have loved and appreciated how understanding everyone has been. It means so much to me. I can assure you that as anxious as you are to get it, I'm more anxious to give it to you.

dirtbikemomSo Restore me is not March 27th like it states on goodreads??

J.L. Mac: Absolutely. I check the meanings. I play with names for hours. Days even. JB and I both take FOREVER to choose names.

J.L. Mac: no it's been delayed :/

Bobbie: I made CJ's swag for Boston LOL she loved it

Alison: Gonna keep quit before my auto correct tells someone to *bleep bleep* will just read....

J.L. Mac: Ditto what JB said above.

Paralover: I'm obsessed with names so fun picking them

Hooked on books-Admin: Question from someone who can't make it tonight. -Did you always want to write?

JB McGee: Planning The Deeper Series has taken a long time. I almost wonder if we'll write it faster than it took us to plan it.

Mandysalt: How many books are to the deeper series x

J.L. Mac: Yes. I have said it before. From the time that I was little I have been in love with the written word. I was 6 when I just went nuts for reading and writing. It's been so natural to me. I know it's what I was meant to do.

Erin: Trying to move to computer. Tell me what you can about the Deeper series. Characters?

J.L. Mac: Three right JB?

JB McGee: 3

JB McGee: And how much are we willing to divulge here.

Paralover: Deeper is not out right?

J.L. Mac: Deep is going to be a real treat for readers

Mandysalt: Great thank can't wait to read them

Paralover: tease lol

Hooked on books-Admin: Don't forget we <3 you both....so you can share things with us

JB McGee: haha - I love it.

JB McGee: The Deeper Series is not out yet. We are aiming for May 31.

JB McGee: for the first book.

Mandysalt: We all love you two

Alison: Love treats

Bobbie: i didnt know about deeper ill have to check them out

Paralover: nice! add to kindle list lol

Erin: How to you co-author a book? I've always wanted to know this

Cashgephart Looking forward to deep and seriously looking forward to restore me. I got my mil and cousins to read it. I received some strongly worded texts about the cliffhanger. They apparently require instant gratification.

Dirtbikemom: thank you both for letting me get lost in your stories. Im a mom with two small boys so I can use some excitment

JB McGee: cashgephart - join the chat at the bottom right

J.L. Mac: As far as what Deeper has going for it I would say that you all will be ike kids in a candy shop. I mean it really is a one stop shop for all readers. If you like para it's got a touch of that. If you like BDS&M it has that. If you like thriller, suspense, mystery, sleuth, romance... it has it all

Cashgephart: Ok hi

Bobbie: nice.......

JB McGee: Awe -  So nice. I am glad you can get lost in them. It's still surreal to me that people like my books. As for co-authoring - we're learning as we go. First we started with phone stuff. Realized we couldn't keep up. We both try to write stuff down. Then we did Google Talk. Now we have a top secret group that we brainstorm in.

Paralover: damn I need that book!!

J.L. Mac: Instant gratification is over rated right? lol

Mandysalt: After I read Wreck me it left me lost and I needed more so I read it 3 times lmao x

Bobbie: twice LOL

J.L. Mac: aww poor mandy! lol

Cashgephart: I dunno. Looking kinda good right now. Feeling some Damon withdrawals

Erin: three more times?! That's intense! I hope it was the new, shiny version

JB McGee: Haha Erin!

Paralover: I just finished it last night so grate

J.L. Mac: lol yeah my editor was amazing with fixing the disaster that was the WM manuscript.

J.L. Mac: thank you!

Erin: haha! Anytime.

Alison: Deeper sounds perfect, I can't wait

Erin: I'm anxiously awaiting RM as well.

Mandysalt: You two have made my night letting us all ask some many question

Hooked on books-Admin: Hooked on books-Admin: Question from someone who can't make it tonight. -What is your karaoke song?

Paralover: Damon: Do you buy Jo all her underwear and clothes?

Angela: When can we expect Restore Me to be out, you left us with such a big cliffhanger I need to know what happens with Damon. My heart broke for Jo.

J.L. Mac: oh damn! I do NOT sing karaoke lol I watch my friends and husband go nuts but I keep my lips sealed. If I had to sing a song it would be something obnoxious like 'I like big butts'

J.L. Mac: yes I know the lyrics.

Cashgephart: Damon: I love you.

Alison: My kind of karaoke song lol

Paralover: I know the lyrics too so sad lol

Bobbie: LOL

Cashgephart:  xoxo

J.L. Mac: lol Damon smiled his crooked smile

Hooked on books-Admin: J.L Mac- your gonna have to record yourself singing that on a video. We must see

Mandysalt: Lmao

Paralover: oh how we love that smile

Bobbie: Are you doing any signing events in the near future and if so where?

Cashgephart: J.L. Where did you get the inspiration for such a heart wrenching tale? I'm always so curious about the authors "process"

J.L. Mac: I'll dance to it on a video and youtube it. lol

Mandysalt: Will you both be coming to the uk any time soon x

J.L. Mac: if I make NYTimes hahahaha

J.L. Mac: Yep! UK trip is coming

JB McGee: It's Chicago Author Event. May 30-June 1, 2014

JB McGee: Ah - we'll have to get up there, then.

Erin: oooh, maybe I should go to GA for my birthday.

Paralover: Yesss

J.L. Mac: I have family in Chicago maybe I'll use that as an excuse to go

JB McGee: Who wants an exclusive - *unedited* peek at Dig Deep?

EBreson: Vegas is the closest "popular"place for me.

J.L. Mac: YES! Erin!

Cashgephart: And ps I'm chatting about my bra at work. Need some Damon!!!

J.L. Mac: Damon nods with approval. Particularly at you rogue bra-less ladies. lol

Bobbie: need to go shopping for a strapless getting tattoo'd thursday

JB McGee: "Is this all you saw?" "No, I'd just started sketching when you knocked. I need to finish it." I sit up and

rest my chin on Cam's shoulder as I look at what I thought might have been blood spatter. "There was a dark alley and a building." "This one is different the other recent ones. Think it's related to any others?" I take the sketch back and start to finish my drawing. I need to do it now or I might miss special details. "No, I don't think so, but I don't know for sure." Cam is very perceptive. She gives me a half shoulder kind of friendly hug. "I'm sorry Emmi. You know I love you." I lean into her to hug her back. "I know. Let me know what you need from me to move forward with the firm." She walks towards the door, turning to look over her shoulder back at me. "Let me know if you get any more on this." Of course she wants to know if I get more on this. Cam's not just a pretty face. She's intuitive and smart. I'm sure she's already trying to decode what I saw. "Yep."

J.L. Mac: oughhh

Paralover: if I wear one it's pink leopard with black lace

J.L. Mac: Dig Deep ^^^^^

Erin: oooooh. I love it

JB McGee: Yeah - you'll certainly get your chance to butcher this mani I'm sure! lol

Mandysalt: You two are great x

Alison: What a great way to write....

Paralover: but we don't know what Damon has on.....

Mandysalt: Lmao

Paralover: it's only fair

Alison: Pleaseeeeeee with a cherry on top

Paralover: JB lol

Cashgephart: Um. Me me me me and me

Mandysalt:

J.L. Mac: Damon is wearing a white undershirt with some fan-fuckin-tastic vintage stone washed jeans

Erin: who cares what Damon has on? He'd be fine with a paper bag on his head 2

Hooked on books-Admin: meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

J.L. Mac: “Uh, I guess I should change that light bulb for you, Mrs. C-Bee.” Andy is caught in the same room with two tenacious smart ass women. The poor sucker. I smile wide at Grams and she belts out a witchy cackle. Andy walks over the light fixture on the wall and begins working on removing the shade. His light brown hair catches the light coming through the window and seems to almost glitter. If I were not utterly and completely in love, I’d be giving him my number right now. “Is this who you were waiting for?” I say in a whisper as I lean in towards Grams. Her wicked smile tells me she is up to no good whatsoever. “You bet. I think he wants to get fresh with me.” I shake my head at the brazen old bat. “And how do you know this?” “Edith, my snotty neighbor always calls in work orders to get him to come to her room and most the time someone else goes but when I call, Andy comes. Every time.” I furrow my brows in disbelief. “I take it you aren’t friends with Edith?” Grams scoffs indignantly. “I wouldn’t be caught dead being in cohorts with that floozy! She manages to chase off just about every good looking staff member here. It’s her one crazy eye they can’t stand.” “What?!” I screech as a fit of laughter rips through me. Both of us cackle unabashed like two gossipy witches. “She has a funny eye. If she isn’t wearing those thick glasses of hers it tends to wander this direction.” Grams brings one finger up to her face and mimics which direction said lazy eye wanders. It’s fucking ridiculous but a much needed break from my own thoughts. “It’s a damned soap opera up in here.” “You got that right honey. Instead of the Young and the Restless we got the old and the worthless!” Grams caps off her quip by popping a circus peanut candy in her mouth. “Want one?” She extends the bag to me and a grab a few. I lean back in my seat and prop my feet on the side of Grams bed. We sit there watching Andy work on change the light bulb. Definitely needed this little break from reality. “Bee, you’ve got some scuff marks up here on the wall. I could get some paint and take care of that.” We both glance up to his face instead of his ass as he turns to face us. “Oh yes, that’s gotta be fixed then. Can you come back tomorrow?” Andy smiles politely and nods. The old bat really has no shame. I wonder if I’m as bad as her. Andy gathers his things and approaches Grams bed. “It was nice to meet you, Jo.” He extends his hand and I take it for a friendly shake. As we shake his thumb stok

Hooked on books-Admin: meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Mandysalt: I love grams and Jo together it is so funny x

Alison: Wow love Grams! Never heard of circus peanuts in the UK I'm I the only one?

Bobbie: Im gonna be her LOL

J.L. Mac: “Oh yes, that’s gotta be fixed then. As we shake his thumb stokes over the back of my hand. I smile at the handsome forward bastard. Our hands slip apart he turns to leave. “See you tomorrow,” he tosses over his shoulder as he walks out of the suite. I turn and gape at Grams. “What the hell was that?” “Guess my man might have an eye for you, Jo.” Grams shrugs and pops another peanut in her mouth. I narrow my eyes on her. There is no telling whats going through that head of hers. “How did scuff marks get on your wall at eye level?” “What? Oh, yes. My cane.” “What?” She has me confused now. “I may or may not have whacked the wall with my cane a few times so that Mister Tight Buns would have to come see me.” She shrugs and flips open the magazine in her lap while mowing down another peanut. She really does eat a ton of those. It’s a fucking miracle she’s not gargantuan. “Wow, grams. Seriously?” She shrugs again and swipes her finger across the magazine to turn another page.

Mandysalt: No I haven't heard of them x

JB McGee: ok - i was told this is a good part by a certain someone

JB McGee: I freeze as Gabby says my name. I have never lost control, never crossed the line when it comes to us being intimate with one another. She’s never had to stop us. I’ve always been the one to stop. But this time, the tip of my erection nearly slid into a place I know I’m not yet allowed or welcomed. I fall over onto the mattress beside her. I cross my arms over my face and close my eyes. “I’m so sorry.” And I am. I am so disappointed with myself. I don’t want her to feel like I can’t wait. Hell, I’ve waited this long. What’s another couple of months. I need to ask her about a date later. I hope she’s not changed her mind on a quick wedding. I glance over at her when I feel her move. I’m relieved that she’s turned over and has propped herself up on her elbow. She starts to trace my sternum with her finger, up and down. “Hey. It’s okay. It was just as much me as you. Part of me thinks my mom wouldn’t care. But the other part of me just can’t do it.” A tear trickles down her face. No, don’t cry. I swipe the tear away as she continues. “I just can’t break the only promise I have left to her,” she confesses. And in true incredible Gabby form, she’s consoling me when it should be the other way around. I stare at the ceiling because I’m too ashamed of nearly losing it to face her. “You shouldn’t have to apologize. I respect it. I’m upset with myself.” I barely turn my head and glance at her. “Gabby, I love you, and I want you so bad. I was just so caught up in this moment. It’s just a little longer. I promise I can wait.” “I know, me too.” Her wandering finger skims past my navel, following the small trail of hair. “We can still do other things,” she suggests. And I can’t believe I’m about to do this. “I’m not going to lie. I yearn to connect to you in every way I can.” I grab her hand before she gets any farther down my stomach. “I just want to hold you. Would that be okay?” “You want to hold me?” She raises her eyebrows, amused. Yes, I know it’s probably something she never thought she’d hear come from my mouth, either. I can’t help but grin. “Don’t act so shocked. Less than twenty-four hours ago I wasn’t sure I’d ever get to do that again. Yes. That’s what I want.” I hold my arm up, and she snuggles into my body. This does feel a little awkward, but I need it. I need to be close to her without being sexual. I don’t trust myself right now, but I want her close to me. Gabby is thumbing her fingers through the hair

Alison: This book will keep me up all night to get it finished I just know it!

JB McGee: this is the last part that got cut off

JB McGee: Gabby is thumbing her fingers through the hair on my chest when she says, “I like to snuggle with you.” Her nose is touching the skin on the side of my chest, and inhales as she continues. “You smell so good.” It’s a statement but the intonation of the way she said it makes me thinks she’s almost asking what it is. I peek down at her equally as confused because I’m wearing what she gave to me. “It’s that Light Blue cologne you got me for Christmas.” She kisses my chest. “I didn’t recognize it. It smells much better on you than that little card in the store.” I thought we were just cuddling. She needs to stop with all this affection or I’m going to have to go take a cold shower. I can’t help but laugh at her statement. I smooth her hair as I kiss her head. “I’m glad to hear I smell better than those little cards in the store.”

J L Mac, Author of the hit book Seven Years of bad luck. Is about to realise her second book in febuary. We are extermly Honoured to have J L Mac here with us for a interview.

Hello J L Mac, thank you for giving us the honer to interview you. We are so exited to be doing this. We will be nice and start with some simple questions.

What do you think is the key to writing?

I don't think there is a key really. I think some individuals are naturally prone to creativity. Writing for me is easy. I feel like a messenger or middle-man. The stories in my head seem to exist without my help. I am compelled to relay them. It's that simple.

If there was one thing you would say to others about to start there journey what would it be?
I would say don't work so hard. A good story should choose you not the other way around. Readers can tell whether subliminally or consciously, when a story feels forced. When a story chooses you it will flow naturally as if it already existed somewhere in your head. You were just unaware of it.
Who is your role model?
It may seem tragic but I can't say I have one singular role model.
What do you think makes a good story?

I think a good story is one that stays with the reader long after the book ends. Connecting to the characters is what forges a lasting bond. A lasting bond keeps those characters fresh in the readers mind. Being unforgettable is the sign of a good book.

Have you ever consider writing a autobiography?

Not in the slightest. My life is dreadfully boring really.

Would you consider writing anything other than romance books?

I would. I love thrillers. It has been why my writing style has a pretty fair mix of plot and romance. I like a mystery. I like danger. I like romance. But, when I roll them together...I love it.

What do you like to do when you're not writing?

 Read of course.

Seven years of bad luck is a very self explain question. What made you come up with the book title Wreck me?
Shitty holiday traffic. A guy cut me off then ran a stop sign. I got mad and in ten minutes on the way to my home Wreck Me was born in my head.

Your Second book Wreck me is due out 20th febuary 2013, What inspired you to step out and write a book and realise it?
Honestly, both Seven Years of Bad Luck and Wreck Me demanded to be shared. I was not initially planning on sharing anything. But, the compulsion to write it and share was all consuming. Getting it out there was like a relief. An itch that finally got scratched.

What can we expect in Wreck me?
You can expect mystery, danger, hot sex, utter and complete heart break, suspense, sympathy, anger, and comedy. I like to say the reader will be thoroughly wrecked after they read Wreck Me. ;) Or, at least, that is my goal.

Can you describe Wreck me in five words.

 Tragic. Powerful. Endearing. Steamy. Suspenseful.

Who are your top 10 Authors?

Ah this one is tough. I am sorry to say that the majority of my favorite authors are dead. But, here they are: Nathaniel Hawthorne, Hemingway, Bronte sisters, Jane Austen, J.D. Salinger, J.K. Rowling (Yes I am a HP fan), Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, Thomas Hardy. To name a few.

If you had to name your top 10 books what would they be?
Everyone is going to be bored with me because I am a girl with a heart for the classics. Far From The Madding Crowd, The Prince and The Pauper, Great Expectations, *cough* Harry Potter...all of them. *cough*, The Catcher In The Rye (absolute all time fave), Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights, For Whom The Bells Toll, The Scarlet Letter.

Favorite colour? Purple.

Thank you so much J L Mac for joining us, We can not wait for Wreck me.
